Owner and trainer Wendy Dean Johnson has more than 30 years in the hunter/jumper/hunt seat equitation field at USEF "A" rated competitions. In the hunter divisions she has competed on the prestigious indoor circuit, including Capital Challenge, Pennsylvania National, Washington International, and the National Horse Show. She has competed at the Grand Prix level in the jumpers, winning the Grand Prix of Scottsdale aboard Double Whirl. In the equitation ring as a junior and amateur she won over 35 medals and won the Arizona Medal Finals four times. Her students compete successfully in the hunter, jumper, and equitation divisions at the state and zone levels. Wendy is a USEF "r" judge in hunters and equitation, and serves as President of the Arizona Hunter Jumper Assn, as well as serving on the USHJA Zone 8 committee.
Wendy and her husband Mike live on the property in order to provide quality care and supervision of the ranch.
