Congratulations to Cheyenne and Sharon Sky on the purchase of "Spend Two Dollars" aka "Dollar."  Dollar is a wonderful Thoroughbred gelding that Cheyenne will show in the hunters and equitation this fall.  We would also like to welcome the Skys' other horse Rori.  Rori is an 8 year old Oldenburg/Arab mare that Cheyenne has shown dressage in the past.  Who knows, mabe Rori will have a new career.

Check out the new Show Results page on the website!  From now on all show results will be posted on this page.

All of Rancho Decano will miss Becky Navarrette. Becky has been transferred to Colorado Springs for her job. We wish both Becky and Cody success at their new home.

Congratulations to Lauren Carr on her and Fresno State's success at Nationals held recently in Waco, Tx.  Lauren won all three of her points for the team in her classes and was the only freshman competing on the English team - quite an accomplishment.  Fresno State ended up 8th overall at Nationals.

Welcome to Veniece Delly and her mare Diva, aka Saks Fith Avenue.  Veniece will show Diva in the beginner and green divisions this coming fall.

Condolences to the Carrs on the loss of Cortino.  He was a very special horse who will never be replaced in our hearts.

Congratulations to all who attended the recent Arizona Season Finale I & II.  Week 1 Wendy was Champion with Karen Mitchell's Secret Hideaway in the Baby Green hunter division.  Dana
Wheeler was Champion with her new mare Be Home By Midnight in the Future Show Star hunter division at their very first show together.  This pair has a very bright future together.  Karen Mitchell won two Long Stirrup classes aboard Secret Hideaway and Mariana Hudson won two Medium Stirrup classes aboard Penny Arcade.  Week two the Barksdale girls rocked the pony world with 3 ponies.  McKenzie was Reserve Champion in both the Children's Pony Hunter and Equitation divisions with Penny Arcade and won all three medals they entered, in the process qualifying for the AHJA Mini Medal Finals next November.  Madison dominated the rated ponies by being Champion with Neon Star and Reserve Champion with Nighttime in the Small Pony Hunter division, winning the Pony Hunter Classic with Nighttime and second with Neon Star, and earning two perpetual trophies for Pony Hunter Champion and High Point Pony.  It was quite a haul to get all those awards to the car.  Meanwhile, Karen Mitchell rode her other mount, First Page, to the Reserve Championship in the Future Show Star Hunters.  She also sang the National Anthem before the Grand Prix Saturday just after completing her classes.  What a talented group we have here at Rancho Decano.
